Essential Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of month end information to support the Motor division. This will include tracking actual performance vs plan and producing segmentation and trend analysis on performance across channels, risk segments and origination cohorts
  • Preparation of the annual Motor budget and quarterly forecasts, engaging with the business and forward flow partners to design and embed proposed strategies
  • Supporting the enhancement of IFRS9 model forecasting across the Motor division
  • Modelling the financial viability and commercial return on potential strategic opportunities (internal/external)
  • Preparing monthly financial reports for the Bank’s senior management team and wider stakeholders, highlighting key trends, insights, risks and opportunities
  • Collaborating with Finance and the wider business, developing strong working relationships
  • Building strong working relationships with external partners to help optimise business growth through clear communication and shared goals
  • Support finance and wider business deliverables as required

Processes, risk and control

  • Establish, maintain and review operating policies and job cards (systems of internal control) to ensure that they are sufficiently robust to adequately safeguard the Group’s assets and where weaknesses are identified ensure remedial action is taken in a timely manner.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Support the risk culture of the organisation by taking personal responsibility for identifying and managing risks in everything you do.
