Under the overall management of the Dynamics/Power Platform Technical Lead, undertake enhancement and addition of new features through configuration and management of changes to a Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management system.
This will involve developing new features to support Business Process needs. You will work with the Dynamics/Power Platform Technical Lead, business product owners and analysts to understand business needs and translate these into functionality within our Dynamics instances.
Essential Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial Microsoft Dynamics integration.
- Experience building features into a Dynamics Instance.
- Experience working from requirements provided by a business stakeholder.
- Understanding of CRM and Marketing capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics product.
Key responsibilities will include:
Dynamics CRM System Ownership:
- Being aware of the functionality being provided by the Dynamics CRM platform at present.
- Implementing requested changes to the platform to support business use cases.
- Working with a Business Analyst to understand and shape requirements based on the technical options available with Microsoft Dynamics.
- Communicate with Hodges Support service desk to support system problems.
- On occasion, work with in-house development teams to support integration with Hodge software and Dynamics
- Configuration of the Dynamics CRM platform such as, adding and maintaining forms and entities, business process flows and task management.
- On occasion, oversee work conducted by third party companies on the Dynamics platform and ensure system interfaces align with agreed principles and standards.
- Understand and maintain all relevant documentation on project work undertaken.
- Support deployment of Dynamics platform changes between environments (Sandbox, User Acceptance Test, Production)
General:
- Understand key business processes that software supports.
- Understand the wider economic environment in which Hodge operates.
- Manage development resources on single delivery team.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of relevant frameworks.
- Ensure appropriate quality measures are adhered to and improved.
- Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained to support current and future development activity.
- Development work to resolve issues and enhance existing software systems and services
- Maintain a knowledge of current technologies and best practice to identify improvements.
- Progress formal training and certification in relevant technologies and disciplines.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and legislative and regulatory requirements, including, but not exhaustively, those related to Data Protection, Money Laundering, Health & Safety, FSA, Employment and other legislative requirements (as applicable).
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks as and when requested.
