The purpose of this role is to ensure Change is well managed within the organisation with a specific focus on how and where cost is being allocated, resource is available in line with plans, and that reporting is available to track and manage change.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

You will be required to live and breathe our Hodge values in your day to day interactions with our customers (Bold Flexibility, Genuine Empathy, Bold Flexibility).

  • Manage the PMO – ensuring:
  • We have a clear view of the strategic roadmap of change
  • A cross company view of the resources (and budget) needed to deliver change.
  • Scheduling new projects based on available resource and works with Resource Owners to secure additional resource in line with available budget.
  • Reporting on in flight delivery, including business benefits, costs, issues, and risks.
  • Agreeing the available change spend (with Finance) and then reporting on how this is being allocated.
  • Work with Finance to ensure benefits are identified and are then being realised once changes are complete.
  • Appropriate levels of governance are in place to manage change, and that this is being used consistently.
  • Manages the monthly governance and meeting cycle ensuring the right reporting is being provided to support the function and wider stakeholder group.
  • Provides reporting on BAU budgets across technology.
  • Ensures operational risks are being managed effectively.
  • Leads and supports on people and engagement initiatives.

What we need from you:

  • Ideally experience within financial services.
  • Highly organised and experience dealing with senior leadership teams
  • Extensive experience working within a business change or PMO position
  • Broad experience of change with a heavy technology element in a commercial organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and methodical thinking
  • Good presentation skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Organisation and planning
  • Motivated and Enthusiastic
