The successful candidate will be supporting the Head of Procurement to implement the Procurement strategy and working to build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders to maximize Hodge’s benefits.
Managing a portfolio of spend categories, will be driving the full cradle to grave procurement process, from building the tender requirements, identifying and negotiating with suppliers, through to running various tenders, awarding the business and drafting or negotiating the contracts.
Initiating tenders and managing projects across the procurement categories, achieving the key procurement values: Savings, Cash flow, Speed of change, Service, Compliance and Risk mitigation.

Degree level education
CIPS – or studying towards
Experience in a Buyer’s or Senior Buyer’s role
Sound procurement acumen
Experience in tendering process

Able to deliver results
Ability to work under pressure
Commitment to high level customer service
Excellent IT skills
