This is a new role within the Hodge Marketing Team and is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of driving the savings business forward within a dynamic and evolving organisation. The successful candidate will work very closely with the wider MarComms and savings teams to define and deliver the savings marketing strategy.

This role is critical in supporting the growth strategy for the savings business and to genuinely be a part of our ambitious growth plans.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Develop the strategy and communications proposition for new and existing savings customers
  • Create, deliver and optimise marketing activity in line with specified performance targets
  • Develop plans and set campaign targets aligned to allocated budget
  • Manage marketing budget against plan to ensure effective use of marketing spend
  • Work with the wider communications team and external agency partners to develop best in class marketing communications
  • Contribute to best practice and incorporate latest developments and thinking in the delivery of our communications
  • Help to define the proposition and alignment of the savings offering to the Banks brand, value proposition and tone of voice
  • Work across the savings and wider retail business and foster good collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Measure the impact, ROI and effectiveness of all marketing activity delivered
  • Challenge existing thinking and provide innovative marketing solutions
  • Keep abreast of any existing or changes to, compliance, regulatory and company standards
  • Ensure all campaigns meet the required brand guidelines, regulatory standards, and all Hodge specific requirements for compliance/ advertising approvals sign off

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, highly organised and self-motivated individual.  Experience in marketing is a must, within financial services or other regulated sector would be desirable. Our ideal candidate is someone who has broad experience of planning and delivering multi-channel marketing activity, right across the marketing mix from social media to 121 comms.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a passion for delivering high quality, integrated marketing activity to help drive the business forward. Excellent stakeholder management skills are crucial as is the ability to work collaboratively with a number of different groups of colleagues.  You will be a strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You will need to be a proactive self-starter and recognise when to challenge the status quo to ensure that the strategic objectives are being met.
