We are recruiting for a Mortgage Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team. The right candidate will be supporting the Retail Mortgages department to achieve their business objectives and strategy. A great opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills through exposure to the whole marketing mix.

Responsibilities:

  • Create templated marketing emails ready for dispatch using the Mailchimp email marketing platform
  • Support the mortgage marketing team in the delivery of marketing campaigns. This could include briefing activity, proofreading, social media activity and design input as well as support with reporting post activity
  • Support the mortgage marketing team with the coordination of sales support material and merchandise for industry events working closely with the marketing consultants and the business development team
  • Be fully immersed in the brand and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure all internal and external output meets the brand guidelines
  • Coordinate the monthly board report and weekly exco reports by collating content from the mortgage marketing team and consultant/s and input into the board report template
  • Help research mortgage industry awards for us to enter and be responsible for producing first drafts of entries
  • Accurately raise and log purchase requests and invoices for the mortgage marketing team. Monitor the marketing spend against budget. Be the team contact for any enquiries
  • Contribute to best practice and incorporate latest developments and thinking to our communications
  • Work across the whole retail mortgage business and foster good collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain good knowledge of all company policies and procedures and wider  legislative/regulatory  requirements,  as  advised  by  line management  and  within  the  Group  Compliance  Including  but  not exhaustively; Conduct Rules, Data Protection, Money Laundering, etc.
  • Demonstrate agility to respond to the varied needs of the business in a rapidly changing and challenging environment.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as and when requested by management.

Person Specification:

  • Experience within Financial Services/mortgages – highly desirable
  • Experience within marketing – highly desirable
  • An excellent level of stakeholder management and people skills to forge good working relationships
  • Good presentation skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent desirable
