Learning & Development Administrator – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

We have just opened a new opportunity for a Learning & Development Administrator for a support role within the L&D and Colleague Experience teams, helping to ensure that Hodge retains a solid foundation training, competency and development.

The L&D Administrator will primarily be responsible for administrative aspects of L&D at Hodge. This will include maintenance of mandatory learning modules and Hodge’s learning platform, updating L&D budget trackers, and managing booking of external training providers or course attendance. The L&D Administrator will also support L&D Partner and Colleague Experience Partner with the creation and delivery of Hodge’s own training materials.  

What we need from you:

Essential experience:

  • Experience working within a regulated environment, such as financial services
  • Experience within administrative roles, requiring strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience working within a team, balancing priorities and managing resource among colleagues 
  • Previous experience within a regulated environment, i.e., Financial Services

Highly Desirable experience:

  • Educated to degree level or vocational equivalent
  • Experience of providing training and/or coaching within a team environment

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and maintain user directory for Hodge’s learning management system (‘LMS’): Hodge Learning. Ensure that weekly uploads are completed on schedule using updated data from Hodge’s HR platform.
  • Review and update mandatory learning module content as required, to ensure that annual certification modules are always reflective of any recent regulatory or industry changes.
  • Support colleagues with any queries regarding the learning platform, responding to advise on any issues with logins, module completion, etc.
  • Respond to colleague training requests, monitoring any incoming requests via the dedicated JIRA portal.
  • Track L&D budget spend for external training by keeping the team’s budget tracker up to date with any new spend or requests.
  • Commence new starter induction processes for new colleagues joining Hodge, including the scheduling of business induction and day one processes with line managers.
  • Contribute to key L&D reporting updates, including monitoring of training & competency (‘T&C’) framework, mandatory module completion, and attendance at core training sessions.
  • Support the development and delivery of Hodge’s own training and development content, such as HR manager workshops.
