So you are already smashing it as Head of Data and Insights for your current employer but frustrated at the slow pace of things and the opportunity to make a real difference in the organisation?

Sure, you could keep on with things ticking over as they are, or you can be part of a dynamic and growing business, and help Hodge maximise the value of its own data and the wider external data landscape.

We have gone through a huge amount of change over the last few years and we have ambitious plans for continued growth in the coming years – but this is not ‘Powerpointware’ – we are delivering on this plan now. Data and insight are both vital to our plans, from better understanding our markets and customers wants and needs, through to Operational MI and everything in between, along with an increasing need to focus on growing our data science capability.

This is a strategic role with line management responsibility – and you will have a free hand to shape your team to meet the business needs. If you have experience of leading a team of data and insights specialists and influencing senior stakeholders then this could be the perfect role for you.

The ideal candidate will have a fantastic blend of people management experience, along with a good understanding of development environments involving SQL and Python etc., plus data visualisation tools such as PowerBI. Experience of establishing Data/Insight functions and the development and implementation of associated Data governance frameworks would be fantastic.

Hodge is based in central Cardiff but we are embracing hybrid/flexible working so we do not mandate a set number of days to be spent in the office, so remote candidates are welcome, although we cannot support applications from outside of the UK.
