About Hodge
For over 50 years, we’ve shared the same simple mission: to really make a positive difference for our customers and communities. This ethos is in our DNA as we are 79% owned by a charity, the Hodge Foundation.

As Hodge continues to embark on its next chapter the Bank has already seen a large amount of growth both in terms of financial performance but importantly its colleagues. Our strategic vision is underpinned by our people and our investment in our colleagues. Our culture is what makes us special and ultimately what delivers our purpose to make a positive difference for our customers and communities.

Our aim is to open financial possibilities where options seem limited. Helping a family get a mortgage, saving for that dream or investing in or developing property. All of our customers get much more than just products: we give them simple solutions and support when they need it most.

The Role

To support our ambitious growth plans we are expanding our data capabilities by seeking a Data Warehouse Consultant with strong SQL, SSIS & SSAS skills and experience, to further enhance the Bank’s Business Intelligence function.

As a Data Warehouse Consultant your primary focus will be to design, develop, maintain and evolve the bank’s Data Warehouse through implementation of efficient ETL processes and delivering continuous improvement.

You will work closely with the wider Business Intelligence team to deliver high-class data solutions to drive business reporting and analytics.

This role plays a crucial part in delivering our Data Strategy and as such we are looking for candidates with proven experience as a Data Warehouse Consultant, with strong experience of the Microsoft BI technologies, and expert understanding of best practice data warehouse design and development.

What will your day look like?

Your key responsibilities as Data Warehouse Consultant will include:

  • Design, develop, maintain and evolve the bank’s data warehouse
  • Support the BI SLT in developing the BI Data Strategy

  • Provide expertise in using and developing reporting data structures and outputs

  • To work with the Head of BI and the wider business to agree priorities and plan accordingly
  • To provide general expertise around data warehouse best practice, design and delivery

Please make sure your application will arrive with us by 28th March 2022.
