We have an opportunity in our rapidly expanding Mortgages Division for an experienced analyst to monitor and strategically drive all aspects of business development across the wider team. The successful candidate will be joining the business The Hodge residential development  team, reporting to the Head of Business Development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Extracting, interpreting, and analysing a variety of internal and external data sources to provide the Business Development function with insight and strategic direction to drive tactical mortgage growth.
  • Providing robust data driven analysis and intelligence to help mould mortgage product development.
  • Working with internal stakeholders across Product, Credit risk, Conduct risk and Senior Leadership to provide both internal and external market insight that supports a data driven approach to strategic thinking.
  • Empowering Business Development Managers to work with greater levels of autonomy through consistent regional analytical support.
  • Producing informative external MI packs to enable national and regional account managers to conduct impactful key account review meetings.
  • Ownership of current and future development of our intermediary oversight process, collating monthly conduct data and managing the review of data with the business development team.
  • Analysing the return on investment across campaigns and marketing initiatives undertaken by the Business Development function to ensure a commercial focus is always maintained
  • Ensuring that Hodges approach to analysis is abreast of any new developments and techniques across the wider market.

Candidates must have:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Attention to detail with excellent literacy and good numerical skills.
  • Able to follow procedures and work within regulated environment.
  • Excellent Office 365 skills and a good understanding of computerised administration and workflow systems
  • Sound knowledge of the mortgage and specifically the intermediary mortgage market

Desirable

  • Experience and knowledge of using Mortgage Clarity data.
  • Educated to Degree level
