Senior Strategy Manager

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering and Strategy, the Senior Strategy Analyst will take the lead on investment analysis, modelling financial viability of opportunities and playing back recommendations in dynamic presentations to the senior leadership team.

You will support and help plan the annual strategy process ensuring full business engagement.

You will work with other business and finance colleagues of all levels, and data analysts across the business, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative team effort to keep the Hodge strategy live and up to date.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Modelling the financial viability and commercial return on potential investment opportunities
• Creating dynamic presentations supporting potential investment opportunities that illustrate key business issues, insights and recommendations. Presenting insights to the senior leadership team
• Development and support of the Quarterly Business Review Process
• Monitoring of external benchmarking for Hodge and reporting KPI’s for the ExCo & Board
• Development of Profit Pool Analysis to aid strategic planning
• Working across the business to understand key developments in the market place and how they impact previous market outlooks and our roadmaps for delivery
• Development of the Business ESG strategy for the company

What we need from you:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Ideally a Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA or an equivalent qualification
• Experience of a strategic role
• Previous financial services or banking environment desirable.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to distil data into key messages
• Ability to prioritise and forward plan effectively
• Strong influencing and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Sound accounting and commercial acumen with the ability to think creatively
• Strong numeracy skills
