The role of AI Analyst will be to support the acceleration of Hodge’s use of applied AI. The role will be at the forefront of the bank’s AI initiatives and led by the Head of AI, be involved in building proof-of-concepts, crafting intelligence workflows and exploring practical applications of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graft, Power Apps and complementary AI tools.
Essential Experience:
- Previous experience with experimenting with LLMs, prompt engineering and agent-style workflows
- Experience with exploring and/or building with AI tools, Copilot Studio or similar conversational/agent development tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate or Dataverse)
- Experience with exploring and/or building with AI tools, Copilot Studio or similar conversational/agent development tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with executives and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop initial proof‑of‑concept (PoC) AI agents and workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including prompt flows, connectors, actions, and autonomous agent capabilities.
- Create and test AI‑powered business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, integrating AI behaviours where valuable.
- Leverage Microsoft Graph to connect and reason over organisational data (files, emails, meetings, etc.) when building intelligent experiences.
- Explore and evaluate alternative AI tooling (e.g., Claude, OpenAI models) to broaden capability and identify opportunities.
- Conduct discovery work to understand business problems and propose AI‑assisted solutions.
- Experiment with a variety of LLMs, agents, and frameworks to benchmark performance, capabilities, and suitability.
- Stay aware of new features released across the Microsoft ecosystem (Copilot, Fabric, Power Platform, Azure AI).
- Analyse the impact of AI PoCs and produce clear recommendations for scaling or iterating.
- Build simple integrations, automations, or orchestrations combining AI models, Power Platform components, and enterprise data sources.
- Assist with data preparation, wrangling, or structuring when required for AI use cases.
- Develop and maintain documentation, technical notes, and implementation guides.
- Partner with business teams to understand real‑world workflows and shape working AI prototypes.
- Support the CTO in identifying quick‑win opportunities for AI adoption.
- Communicate findings, demo prototypes, and explain technical concepts in accessible language.
