About Hodge

For over 50 years, we’ve shared the same simple mission: to really make a positive difference for our customers and communities. This ethos is in our DNA as we are 79% owned by a charity, the Hodge Foundation.

Our purpose is to open financial possibilities where options seem limited. Helping a family get a mortgage, saving for that dream or investing in or developing property. All of our customers get much more than just products: we give them simple solutions and support when they need it most.

The role

Hodge’s ambition is to become a truly customer-centric organisation and a leader in its chosen markets; which is why the Resource Planning & Insights Analyst is a key enabler to ensuring that our operational teams are resourced accordingly when customers need us most.

Reviewing, developing and providing insight on resource levels across operations will be your primary function alongside managing attendance, although given the nature of the role, we’re also looking for an individual who can also help develop performance dashboards and management information in partnership with our BI team that will help how we drive performance across operations.

You’ll have experience on work-force-management and have a passion for problem solving and a proven ability to inform and take decisions.

What will your day look like?

Every day will be different, although your key responsibilities as a Resource Planning & Insight Analyst will be.

  • Be seen as the Go-To person for all things resource planning, always seeking out alternative solutions to issues, and suggesting improvements to ways of working, daily plans, targets and operating structures.
  • Effectively develop and publish capacity plans on a regular basis using data and analysis; ensuring the optimal level of resource is delivered to achieve agreed SLA’s such as ASA, Abandoned Rate on telephony, and time to reply on back office correspondence.
  • Ensure effective scheduling of colleagues across the operation, taking into account previous and current trends, planned product launches or amends, holiday allocation and any recruitment gaps across the team.
  • Monitor actual staffing levels against plan, providing insight to the management team on corrective actions such as cross-skill support, overtime etc to improve overall service delivery
  • Define, develop and deliver relevant management information including dashboards that will improve visibility of performance across both operations and the wider business.

Are you the one for us?

  • Driven and self-motivated who thrives on a challenge.
  • A highly organised individual with a proven track record in managing resource levels across an operational function.
  • An effective  communicator who connects well with different audiences.
  • Collaborative, supportive  and wants to do a great job for  colleagues and customers.
  • Curious and willing to challenge.
  • Relentlessly ambitious and creative in finding solutions, even when they’re hard to find.
