The role

Hodge’s ambition is to become a truly customer-centric organisation. We’re looking for an experienced individual who understands that the Savings market and is focused on delivering the right products and services for our customers.

Leading the Savings product team and a member of the Savings leadership team, you will play a crucial role in achieving our ambition through driving the Product and Pricing strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director of Savings and attending a number of Executive committee meetings, you will have a strong ability to represent and influence all facets of Savings product and pricing.

 

What will your day look like?

Your key responsibilities as Savings Product Manager will include:

  • Maintain existing savings products and design and create new products and propositions in line with the Product roadmap, ensuring compliance with the product governance policy approved by Board
  • Work with the wider business to deliver key business and technological initiatives that align to the Savings strategy. Act as SME for Savings
  • Regular analysis of the Savings market to ensure Hodge is well positioned within it to achieve its strategic and financial objectives
  • Work with colleagues across Hodge to identify customer needs and pain points across savings and adapt the product and proposition strategy to reflect these
  • Monitor and own all competitor insight and market trends. Ensure developments are incorporated into the acquisition, retention and product strategy
  • Deliver weekly and monthly forecasts to Retail Executive and Pricing & Treasury Committee and report on actual performance.
  • Lead in responding to regulatory changes that impact Savings products
  • Ownership and management of product literature including website information and product terms and conditions.

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of BCOBS, FCA and PRA regulatory frameworks

  • Empathetic leader willing to empower others to make the right decision
