Dynamics Technical Lead

We are looking for a Dynamics Technical Lead to oversee and manage changes to a Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management system and associated Power Platform tools.

This will involve developing new features to support Business Process needs. You will act as the technical owner of the Dynamics / Power platform and be aware of its uses within the Business. You will work with business product owners and analysts to understand business needs and translate these into functionality within our Dynamics instances.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Being aware of the functionality being provided by the Dynamics CRM / Power platforms at present.
  • Implementing requested changes to the platforms to support business use cases.
  • Working with a Business Analyst to understand and shape requirements based on the technical options available with Microsoft Dynamics and Power platform.
  • Communicate with Hodges Support service desk to support system problems.
  • On occasion, work with in-house development teams to support integration with Hodge software and Dynamics
  • Configuration of the Dynamics CRM / Power platforms such as, adding and maintaining forms and entities, business process flows and task management.
  • On occasion, oversee work conducted by third party companies on the Dynamics / Power platform and ensure system interfaces align with agreed principles and standards.
  • Understand and maintain all relevant documentation on project work undertaken.
  • Support deployment of Dynamics / Power platform changes between environments (Sandbox, User Acceptance Test, Production)

 

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience in commercial Microsoft Dynamics integration and Power Platform
  • Experience configuring a Dynamics Instance to a company’s specification
  • Experience building features into a Dynamics Instance and using Power Platforms (e.g. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents)
  • Experience working from requirements provided by a business stakeholder.
  • Understanding of CRM and Marketing capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics product.
  • Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics / Power Platforms
  • Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
