Commercial Lending Analyst – EXPIRED

We have an opportunity in our rapidly expanding Commercial Lending Division. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio, we’re looking for someone with excellent analytical and communication skills looking to make a career within banking. This opportunity is also open to graduates looking for a role within Commercial Lending.

Are you the one for us?

• Educated to GCSE “A” Level standard, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years general banking or financial services experience in a lending environment or Educated to degree standard.
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Good at planning and organising to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, numeracy and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Understanding and experience of general administration.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Liaise with clients, colleagues and professional advisors to ensure high levels of client service and satisfaction.
• Obtain and review client management information to ensure that loans are operating in accordance with agreed terms.
• Collate, review, analyse and update various internal control reports on a regular basis.
• Assist Portfolio managers with research and preparation for client reviews and credit paper submissions, including analysis of financial accounts, client information, covenant testing, preparation of cashflow forecasts and risk rating models.
• Complete account opening and AML/KYC procedures for new and existing clients.
• Process payments and assist with new business completion transactions.
• Co-ordinate loan redemptions and ensure security is released appropriately.
• Maintain and update client records, ensuring all data is fully captured and accurate.
