About Hodge
For over 50 years, we’ve shared the same simple mission: to really make a positive difference for our customers and communities. This ethos is in our DNA as we are 79% owned by a charity, the Hodge Foundation.

As Hodge continues to embark on its next chapter the Bank has already seen a large amount of growth both in terms of financial performance but importantly its colleagues. Our strategic vision is underpinned by our people and our investment in our colleagues. Our culture is what makes us special and ultimately what delivers our purpose to make a positive difference for our customers and communities.

Our aim is to open financial possibilities where options seem limited. Helping a family get a mortgage, saving for that dream or investing in or developing property. All of our customers get much more than just products: we give them simple solutions and support when they need it most.

The Role

To support the growing and changing needs of the business, we are investing in our data capabilities, and are therefore seeking a highly skilled Reporting Consultant to further enhance the Bank’s growing Business Intelligence function.

As a Reporting Consultant you will be developing data and reporting solutions to the wider business using your proven ability to drive business insight and analytics.

This role plays a crucial part in delivering our Data Strategy and as such we are looking for candidates with proven experience as a Reporting Consultant, with strong experience of the Microsoft BI technologies, and expert understanding of best practice data design and development.  We are therefore looking for candidates with solid SQL, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI skills to join us and contribute to the further success of our team and the company.

What will your day look like?

Your key responsibilities as BI Reporting Consultant will include:

  • Design, develop and maintain data reporting and BI solutions across a variety of platforms.
  • Support the BI SLT in developing the BI Data Strategy.
  • Provide expertise in using and developing reporting data structures and outputs.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate and improve existing report efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and update appropriate technical documentation.
  • Work closely with the BI and wider Hodge team to define requirements and efficiencies.
  • To provide transparency and progress reports around the delivery of BI solutions.
  • To provide general expertise around BI best practice, design, and delivery.

If you are interested in this role, we would love to hear from you. Submit your CV, along with a few paragraphs explaining why you think you’re right for the role.

Please make sure your application arrives with us by 10th January 2022.
