Working with experienced developer Athelstone Holdings, Hodge has completed on a loan facility to fund the development of six three-bedroom semi-detached houses in the coastal town of Weymouth, South Dorset.
The site, which is classed as brownfield development land, was home to a large, derelict four-bedroom house, which has been vacant for many years. The project will demolish the existing property to make way for six new, high-spec homes.
These will bring regeneration to the area, offering families and young professionals the opportunity to live in spacious semi-detached properties, with open-plan living and en-suite bathrooms, as well as benefiting from a sizeable rear garden and carparking.
Speaking about the development, Athelstone director, Joshua Eiles-Clarke, said: “We’re pleased to have secured funding from Hodge to allow us to breathe new life into this site, offering some much-needed new homes for people in the local area.”
Greg Pescott, senior development finance manager, said: “It’s great to be involved in this project providing quality housing and supporting regional housebuilding with experienced developers like Athelstone Holdings.”
