We no longer offer business and non-personal savings accounts
Hodge no longer offers business and non-personal savings accounts. As we evolve, we are focusing our efforts on developing products solely for the personal savings market. Therefore we have decided to no longer provide business and non-personal savings accounts.
If you hold a Fixed Rate Bond with us, your account will continue to run until maturity, at which point the funds and interest held will be repaid to you.
If you hold a Notice Account with us, you will be notified over the coming weeks that your account will be closed and any funds and interest held will be repaid to you.
FAQs:
When will you notify me that my account will be closed?
If you hold a Notice Account with Hodge, you will be notified over the coming weeks that your account will be closed. We will provide you with the notice period applicable on your account as notice of account closure. For example if you hold a 90 Day Notice Account, you will be provided with 90 days’ notice of account closure. For accounts with a notice period of 60 days of less, we will be providing 60 days’ notice of account closure.
Can I access my money immediately?
If you hold a Notice Account, once you have received the notification of account closure from us, you can contact us to request immediate closure of your account.
If you hold a Fixed Rate Bond, your account will continue to run until maturity.
Why have you taken the decision to close the accounts for non-personal and business customers?
As Hodge grows and evolves, we’ve decided to streamline the savings accounts we offer to focus on the personal savings market, which is why we’ve decided to stop providing non-personal and business savings accounts.
Where can I open a new savings account now that you are closing my account with Hodge?
There are a wide range of non-personal and business savings accounts available through other providers. Moneyfacts.co.uk provides a comprehensive overview of products you may be able to apply for.
