A pivotal role in ensuring data becomes a key part of the Hodge Fabric. A role that will support the implementation of the Data Strategy, ensuring a world class Data and Insight department to support the data needs of the Hodge Stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Knowledge of SQL, MS Excel and SSRS.
  • Experience with MS BI technologies (MS Power BI/SSRS)
  • Understanding in data report design, development  automation.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of using DAX language to manipulate data.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and evolve the group report automation and data visualisation service.
  • Implementing best practice development and controls for our suite of automated reports and data extracts.
  • Develop SSRS data outputs and Power BI reports.
  • Understand the structure and content of the organisation’s data
  • Translate business reporting requirements into reporting specifications.
  • Design, build and deploy SSRS and Power BI reporting solutions.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
  • Develop and update appropriate technical documentation.

BI Service:

  • Develop relationships with internal customers and be confident in working with stakeholders across the company.
  • Deliver first class customer service and promote the BI service.
  • Provide data analysis expertise and support on an ad-hoc basis.

General:

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and legislative and regulatory requirements, including, but not exhaustively, those related to GDPR, Money Laundering, Health & Safety, PRA/FCA regulations, employment and other legislative requirements (as applicable).
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as and when requested by senior management.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Compliance & Risk regulatory and legislative information related to products/services (e.g. PRA/FCA rules, Data Protection, Money Laundering, etc.), as advised by line management.
  • Support the risk culture of the organisation by taking personal responsibility for identifying and managing risks.
