We want the process of doing business with us to be as easy as possible. All you need to do is follow the simple steps below and let us take care of the rest.

Hodge is no longer accepting new business for Equity Release Mortgages and Annuities with effect from Friday 19th February 2021.

We have sold the part of our business that is responsible for Annuities and Equity Release Mortgages, Hodge Life Assurance Company (HLAC) to Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) who are leaders in their field.

There will be no changes to existing equity release arrangements and customers will continue to be able to make cash withdrawals and apply for further borrowing as normal, the transition to RGA will be seamless from a customer point of view.

All pipeline business will be honoured subject to quotes being converted into applications within the 30-day validity period and offers completing within the three-month validity period.

Before you can submit a residential mortgage application, you need to register and agree to our Terms of Business. You can do this through our Hodge Adviser Portal . It’s quick and easy, just follow the steps below:

    1. Visit our adviser portal  and click register
    2. Search for your company using your FCA number
    3. If you can’t find it, your company isn’t registered with us. You’ll need to do that first
    4. Once that’s done, register yourself as an individual adviser, verify your email address, set up some login details, and you can get started on your application.

New Decision-in-Principle

Once you’re registered, you can submit a new DIP straight away. Just choose the product type, then you can get started.

An underwriter will come back to you with a decision within a few working hours. 

Full Mortgage Application

As soon as you have your DIP, you can proceed to full application. Your underwriter will let you know exactly what supporting documents you need to submit with the application.
